Avigna is hiring Senior Data Engineer – Malmö

Our IT Delivery Center aims to build strong and sustainable solutions for customers across Europe. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the team to build, support, and drive customer innovations, bringing efficiency to the processes through efficient cost and schedule management. 📍 Location:

Malmö, Sweden

💻 Mode of Work:

Hybrid (on-site and remote)

🛠️ Responsibilities:

  • Build scalable pipelines using Azure Databricks, ADF, and Event Hub.
  • Implement CDC, Delta Live Tables, and real-time processing.
  • Optimize Medallion architecture data models.
  • Develop transformations with PySpark/Python and strong SQL.
  • Apply CI/CD, DevOps best practices, and testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with global teams and lead technical discussions.

🎓 Required Skills:

  • Expert in Azure Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Python.
  • Hands-on with DBT, ETL, Data Warehousing, and modeling.
  • Knowledge of Medallion architecture, CDC, Delta Live Tables.
  • Strong communication in multicultural environments.
