Data Engineer

Avigna is hiring: Data Engineer

Our IT Delivery Center aims to build strong and sustainable solutions for customers across Europe. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the team to build, support, and drive customer innovations, bringing efficiency to the processes through efficient management of cost and schedule.

Experience: 3+ years in data engineering, technical solutions, or software development

Location: Stockholm

Mode of work: Hybrid

Language: Swedish and English

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build efficient data pipelines and data models
  • Execute data acquisition, transformation, and integration processes
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Risk, Finance, and IT to meet business data needs
  • Enhance data accessibility and usage across the organization
  • Support agile delivery and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualification:

  • Academic degree in data engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in ETL processes and data logic
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft’s cloud data stack (SQL, Power BI, Azure)
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Good command of English and understanding of Swedish or Norwegian
  • Bonus: Experience with Python, DBT, and financial sector data; familiarity with Agile/Scrum
