About the Role We are looking for a Senior AI Platform/Data Engineer to join a dynamic team in Stockholm. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining hybrid data platforms that support advanced machine learning and AI initiatives. You’ll work hands-on across both on-premises and cloud environments, collaborating closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in the full ML delivery chain—from data sourcing and transformation to model deployment and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will:

• Design and maintain hybrid data platforms across on-prem and cloud environments
• Build efficient data and ML pipelines using modern orchestration tools
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to operationalise models and optimise business use cases
• Apply DevOps and software engineering practices to enable scalable ML delivery
• Enhance CI/CD and MLOps capabilities across the platform
• Work in a Linux/SRE environment, with a preference for terminal-based workflows

Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A master’s degree or equivalent in a technical field with strong academic results
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data, DevOps, or ML Engineer
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for coding
• Deep understanding of system design and software development
• Experience with data modeling, orchestration, and validation using tools like dbt, Prefect, Spark
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with containerised development in Linux
• Familiarity with test-driven development
• Experience deploying ML models in production and working with MLOps
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
