Data Specialist

Avigna is hiring Data Specialist

Our IT Delivery Center aims to build strong and sustainable solutions for European customers. We are looking for a Data Specialist to join the team to build, support, and drive customer innovations, bringing efficiency to the processes through efficient management of cost and schedule.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct high-level analysis of current data management capabilities and tooling to estimate a future state.
  2. Define a target architecture for data management capabilities, including a high-level roadmap for potential tech investments.
  3. Gather requirements to prepare for an RFI/RFP for potential technology investments.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert in data management, educating the team and organization on data management practices and collaboration needs.

Qualifications

  1. Expert in data management with a strong understanding of data governance and its role in business value.
  2. Up-to-date knowledge of current data management tooling and trends.
  3. Skilled communicator, organized, and adept at navigating tech organizations and building business relationships.
  4. Experience implementing data management and governance in large global enterprises.
  5. Proven experience in creating target architecture for data management.
  6. Background in conducting pre-studies and managing RFI/RFP processes for technology acquisition.
  7. Hands-on experience with data management and governance tools.
  8. Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills in English.
  9. Previous experience in project management and agile methodologies is a plus.
