Job Description:
This SAP IBP Response Integration Designer role emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of SAP IBP, particularly in the context of Configure-to-Order (CTO) and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) scenarios, which are prevalent in manufacturing environments. Here's a breakdown of the job requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration and implementation of the IBP Response & Supply module, along with other relevant modules such as Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Demand Management, and Inventory Planning & Optimization.
- Set up and configure the entire flow of production planning, particularly for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) business scenarios. This includes Material Management and Quality Management.
- Strong working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Variant Configuration, Engineering Change Management, and Product Modeling in ETO environments.
- Design and configure seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP. Deep experience with data transformation and interface design between ECC, S4, and other systems is crucial.
- Expert in configuring IBP attributes, master data, time profiles, key figures, versioning, and activating planning areas. Proficiency in setting up Excel-based planning views is required.
- Experience with realignment, lifecycle management (LCM), and advanced forecasting models is essential, especially in packaging or similar industries.
- Familiarity with the integration between Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), Production Planning (PP), and other SAP modules.
- Document proof of concept system setups with subject matter experts (SMEs), record issues and solutions, and provide ongoing support to business users in various project phases.
- Must be able to thrive in fast-paced, agile work environments, capturing and addressing business requirements from global stakeholders.
Must-Have Skill Set:
- At least 2-3 IBP implementations in manufacturing environments with relevant modules (S&OP, Demand, Inventory, etc.).
- Deep understanding of the full Configure-to-Order (CTO) and/or Engineer-to-Order (ETO) process flows.
- Strong experience with integration between IBP and other SAP modules (S/4HANA, ECC, APO, PP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Good insight into SAP’s roadmap for IBP and the ability to translate that knowledge into actionable tasks for the business.
